The TEMPO range is designed to unlock female players’ full tennis potential.
In an innovative feature for this new release, we’ve recycled graphite from the
aerospace industry to reuse it in the racket. A premium material that delivers
exceptional on-court performance whilst also reducing the racket’s carbon and
environmental footprint.
To achieve this impressive feat, TECNIFIBRE has partnered with FAIRMAT, a
company that collects and processes production waste from the aerospace
industry into high-performance graphite strips. On average, the quality of
these strips is superior to that of standard industrial graphite: they offer
enhanced strength, rigidity and stability. The residue is incorporated directly
into the racket frame, containing between 15 and 20% recycled graphite by
weight relative to the virgin carbon fibre.
Plus, this leads to a 14.4% reduction in the carbon footprint and a 15.8%
reduction in the environmental impact across the racket’s entire life cycle
(versus the Tempo Tour 2024)*.
